Re: Brandi's Sketch with a Messy Twist - Layout Challenge
I used distress ink for the stenciling and distress spray stain for splatters. Was fun and definitely messy!

Re: Brandi's Sketch with a Messy Twist - Layout Challenge
I used fossilized amber distress stain, winter frost Distress Mica Stain Spray & Bundled Sage Distress Spray Stain. I also used two stamps on this page. I used some really old supplies that I had in a baggy with these photos. I guess I probably took them to a crop years ago & didn't get to them. I decided to go ahead & use them. The picture is from 7-20-02
Re: Brandi's Sketch with a Messy Twist - Layout Challenge
I used Simon Hurley's neon lunar paste and a stencil I made myself.
And the misted with Mr. Huey's spray and Tim Holtz distress mica spray.

Re: Brandi's Sketch with a Messy Twist - Layout Challenge
Layout created for Brandi’s sketch with a messy sketch.
I used a stencil and ink to create the starburst pattern, and then splattered with black and turquoise spray, and finally dotted with glitter stickles.

Re: Brandi's Sketch with a Messy Twist - Layout Challenge
I used Ranger Black Soot Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad with blending tool and pad.
the main medium was Black - Dina Wakley Media Gesso thru a Tim Holtz Splatter stencil. I also used a white gel pen to outline the title in order for the black letters to show up. All edges were ink distressed. The blue and gray measuring tape paper is from K&Company Home Improvement kit that I had and I cut it all up to use only those colors and the Photoplay Measure It pp using the backside which was a black grid paper.
Re: Brandi's Sketch with a Messy Twist - Layout Challenge
Thanks for the challenge and for hosting, Brandi! I used watercolors, acrylic paint splatters and stamped ink images.
