Instead of velum could I use clear plastic?

Fun challenge! So happy to see the vellum as a choice. I've been meaning to dig through my supplies to find some. I keep seeing it on a lot of ladies' layout and I love it!

I chose:
Mexican - vibrant colors
Florals
Enamel Dots
Vellum
Border punch

Couldn't ask for brighter!  This is so great!  Even the vellum is bright - love it
(and yeah - I have a lot of vellum, too, that I need to use more)

I used Cuisine: 1 - Mexican (yellow and carribean blue), Protiens: 4 - Clear texture paste (over the sun's rays), Spices: 3 - Glitter (wink of stella over the title (really shiny in person), Sauce: 2 - Spray mist (blue on background), and Tools: 4 - Die cut machine (title) and 6- stencil (sun).

I used Mexican,  protiens - Polka dots, spice - stickles, sauce - velumn shaker, tools - diecut Silhouette for the title
