But while on vacation in Las Vegas, we visited the NewYork-NewYork casino. The casino built an exact replica of the famous bridge across the sidewalks in front of the casino entrances. Walking through the bridge was like being in NYC itself. I have since been to NYC and saw the famous bridge. Unfortunately, it was raining and didn't get any pictures of it.

Here is my submission. It's not about one bridge but many! It's also my very first attempt at digi!

Very nice Sher, I love that airplane pulling the banner with your title on it. The bridge is amazing. Thank you for doing my challenge.

Awesome job with the digi. I really like the colors they make the photos pop. Love the title. Thank you for doing my challenge.

Here is my layout:

Journaling: The Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge was built in 1956, and finally opened up three years later. It replaced a drawbridge that connects Corpus Christi to Portland. It crosses the Port of Corpus Christi, which happens to be the 5th largest port in the United States.

This was super tough for me as I never scraplift and I never use B&W photos, and mostly I make cards. So naturally, I couldn't resist doing this one ! LOL ! I can't tell if I got this in the challenge gallery or not.
Here's the one I scraplifted.

Nothing like getting something done with only 17 minutes left! My bridge of choice is the Sunshine Skyway in Tampa, FL. It's my all time favorite and even Travel Channel rated it #3 in their Top Bridges of the World program!

I scraplifted this layout - I really like the horizontal lines and the layers

Image

And this is what I ended up with (I couldn't resist adding a second color photo in the polaroid frame. The bridge and Tampa bay are so beautiful that even the best black and white photo can only d them so much justice))
